DINGLE

 A mere 10 mins drive from Annascaul lies the beautiful fishing town of Dingle, renowned the World over for it’s Dramatic Coastal Scenery, Pubs & Restaurants, it’s Arts & Crafts and of course ‘Fungie the Dingle Dolphin’.

Dingle offers so much to the visitor, you can stroll around it’s quaint narrow streets taking in all Dingle’s unique atmosphere, visit the many craft shops & galleries.  Visit Ireland’s best indoor Aquarium with it’s emphasis on sea lives found around our shores or why not take a magical boat trip to see Fungie and be awe struck by the beauty of Dingle Bay from the water.

Dingle also has some of Ireland’s finest restaurants specialising in locally caught seafood.  Why not finish the night in one of Dingles many pubs and enjoy some of the traditional music & dance only this part of Ireland has to offer.

 


 

DAY TRIPS – KILLARNEY & TRALEE

Just 30 mins drive from Annascaul is Kerry’s principal town, Tralee famous for ‘the Rose of Tralee festival’.  Tralee is a busy bustling town with great bars, restaurant and shops.  Tralee’s Aqua Dome is a great treat for the kids on a rainy day with it’s swimming pools and water slides.

Killarney is just 40 mins drive from Annascaul, known the world over for its scenery.  Take an unmissable tour around Killarney’s famous lakes on a jaunting car, visit the stately Muckross House, take a short climb to the spectacular Torc waterfall or take a pony trek through the gap of Dunloe.  Killarney is also the starting point for the ‘Ring of Kerry’.
